"When we give ourselves permission to feel, we begin to heal. In that healing, we reclaim our truth, embrace who we were always meant to be, and create space for the next generation to do the same."

The Journey That Led Me Here

Hi! I’m Mandy Miller—Owner of The Embodiment Journey, Certified Embodiment Coach, and Reiki Master, with ongoing certification in Complex Trauma Recovery. I offer client-led, trauma-informed support for nervous system healing and emotional resilience.

The healing modalities I now share with others aren’t just part of my professional path, they have been essential tools in my own nervous system healing, emotional regulation, and reconnection with self.

Before this chapter of my life, I spent years showing up for others, offering steady care, holding space, and being the one people could lean on. Whether through my work or personal connections, I was deeply committed to supporting those around me. But behind that calm and capable exterior was someone who had learned to bury her own needs. Over time, the weight of unprocessed stress, grief, and emotional overwhelm quietly took its toll.

Like many of the clients I now support, I was good at taking care of everyone else. I could offer comfort, listen deeply, and create a sense of safety for others, but I struggled to extend that same compassion to myself. It wasn’t until I began my own healing journey that I discovered how trauma, chronic stress, and emotional dysregulation had been living in my body for years.

Through trauma recovery coaching and embodiment practices, I began to unravel the layers I had long tucked away. That journey helped me heal persistent symptoms like anxiety, muscle tension, poor concentration, heart palpitations, digestive issues, and the constant feeling of being overwhelmed or disconnected. For the first time, I felt truly present in my body, in my breath, and my life.

Now, I support others through the very tools that helped me heal. I work with individuals who may not recognize their experiences as trauma, but who feel stuck, anxious, or disconnected from themselves. Whether you're a caregiver, a first responder, someone navigating chronic stress or quiet grief, my approach meets you where you are—with nervous system-centered support, emotional release, and compassionate guidance every step of the way.

As part of my own ongoing healing and embodiment journey, I regularly attend wellness retreats to reconnect with myself and deepen the practices I share with others. I also continue to take classes and pursue advanced training so I can grow in the work I offer and stay aligned with the most supportive, ethical, and informed approaches. These spaces of learning and restoration allow me to return to my work grounded, renewed, and more present, because I believe in offering support that comes not only from training, but from lived experience.

Healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken because we are not broken; it’s about gently reconnecting with the parts of ourselves we had to leave behind to survive. I’m here to help you remember your wholeness, release what no longer serves you, and embrace who you were always meant to be.

If this speaks to you, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

Let’s begin together.
