Embodiment 

Embodiment coaching is a somatic, client-led healing approach that helps individuals connect with their bodies to process and release stored emotions. Unlike traditional talk therapy, which primarily engages the mind, embodiment coaching focuses on the nervous system, recognizing that emotions are not just thoughts, but physical experiences held within the body. ​ When we go through stressful or overwhelming experiences, our nervous system records and stores emotional intensity, especially if we don’t feel completely safe or regulated in the moment. Ideally, the body naturally processes and releases these emotions. However, when emotions remain unprocessed, they accumulate and can lead to a variety of physical, mental, and emotional symptoms, such as: ~Digestive issues and stomach discomfort ~Headaches and migraines ~Persistent sadness or emotional heaviness ~Feeling stuck or disconnected ~Over-stimulation and difficulty focusing ~Increased irritability ~Anxiety and chronic overthinking ~ADHD-like symptoms ~Challenges in relationships and career ​ Embodiment practices use the body as a tool for healing through self-awareness, mindfulness, connection, self-regulation, finding balance, and creating self-acceptance. It explores the relationship between our physical being and our energy and involves the interaction of our body, thoughts, and actions. Safety: The Foundation of Embodiment Coaching Every Embodiment Coaching session begins with establishing a sense of safety within your body, guided by your pace and personal experience. Many of us spend most of our time in our heads—analyzing, overthinking, and problem-solving—which can leave our nervous systems feeling unsettled. True safety comes from reconnecting with the body and fully "embodying" your physical presence. ​ Through consistent practice, this process helps rewire your nervous system to shift naturally into a state of calm, even in high-stress situations. Rather than relying on coping strategies in the heat of the moment, which can feel overwhelming, Embodiment Coaching is designed to reprogram your stress response at its core. Over time, your body will learn to instinctively return to a state of balance and ease, allowing you to navigate intense emotions with greater resilience. Sensitivity: Tuning Into Your Body’s Wisdom Once a foundation of safety is established, we shift our focus to sensitivity, learning to listen to the body as a powerful tool for awareness. Through breath-work and intentional connection with different areas of your body, you’ll notice subtle sensations, emotions, and thoughts emerging. These are often unresolved emotions stored within your nervous system, waiting to be acknowledged and released. By gently exploring these sensations, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of your body’s signals, allowing you to process emotions in a way that feels natural and empowering. Unwind & Liberate: Releasing What Holds You Back The heart of an Embodiment Coaching session is the process of unwinding—releasing stored tension from your nervous system that has been trapped in your body, thoughts, and behaviors. This frozen tension can show up in various ways, from physical tightness to limiting beliefs, repetitive mental narratives, and difficulties with boundaries. Frozen tension – Unprocessed fight-or-flight energy gets stored in your nervous system, muscles, and fascia, creating physical and emotional blockages. Limiting beliefs – Thoughts like "I have to stay busy to be worthy," or "I can’t have what others have" shape your choices and responses in ways that may hold you back. Mental narratives – The stories we replay in our minds, such as "This meeting is going to be terrible" or "Tomorrow will be stressful," pull us out of the present and reinforce unnecessary fear or worry. Unhealthy boundaries – When we expect others to change so we can feel at peace, it’s often a sign that we need to redefine our own boundaries. Instead of depending on someone else's actions for our well-being, how can we create peace from within? ​ By clearing these internal obstacles, you open yourself to greater alignment and ease: Become a magnet – When you release what no longer serves you, you naturally attract opportunities, relationships, and experiences that align with your true desires. Empower your roles – Whether you are a parent, partner, friend, or professional, embodying these roles with presence and confidence transforms how you show up in life. Embrace pleasure – What would it feel like to be fully at peace, joyful, and excited in all areas of life? Unravel any resistance to pleasure and step into a life where happiness feels natural and abundant. ​ This process allows you to break free from old patterns, reconnect with your authentic self, and create space for what you truly want to experience. Complex Trauma Recovery

Complex Trauma Recovery offers a compassionate, safe, and non-judgmental space for you to begin your healing journey. It’s a “bottom-up” approach that focuses on feeling your way through challenges, using embodiment techniques to process trauma, rather than trying to think or talk your way through it. Because everyone’s story and experience with trauma is unique, some may find that speaking about their past can be emotionally overwhelming. In our work together, we will: ~Explore stored trauma and its impact ~Establish a sense of personal safety and trust ~Create space where you feel heard, validated, and understood ~Promote deep healing through mind-body connection ~Cultivate awareness of emotions, sensations, and thoughts within the body ~Address the trauma that prevents you from living an authentic, joyful life Healing doesn’t happen all at once—it unfolds gently, layer by layer. You don’t have to navigate it alone. This work is here to meet you where you are, honor your story, and support your journey back to yourself.

Reiki    

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing practice that supports your body’s natural ability to release stress, restore balance, and reconnect with your inner calm. While traditionally offered in person, Reiki works just as effectively from a distance, because energy is not bound by physical space. In a Distance Reiki session, we begin with a brief check-in. You’ll then settle into a quiet, comfortable space while I channel Reiki energy to you remotely. You can choose to remain connected and actively engaged or simply rest in silence, both are equally supportive. You may feel warmth, tingling, lightness, emotional release, or a deep sense of peace. Some clients experience clarity or energetic shifts during the session, while others notice a gradual integration of healing in the hours or days that follow. This practice works holistically, easing physical tension, soothing emotional stress, and gently clearing stagnant energy that may be stored from past experiences. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, energetically stuck, or simply in need of grounding, Reiki offers a subtle but powerful path to restoration. No belief is required, just a willingness to receive. Reiki may be woven into coaching sessions or booked as a stand-alone service when you are seeking a quiet, supportive reset.

Session Support Practices

To deepen your healing experience, I may incorporate gentle, intuitive practices such as distance Reiki, guided meditation, grounding techniques, spiritual connection, or oracle card readings—offered with care and always tailored to your needs in the moment.
